Dr. Iyer

“It is an amazing privilege to help and learn from patients courageously taking on cancer and on many occasions, beating the odds. It is an enriching and humbling experience regardless of the final outcome. In terms of hematologic issues, both benign and malignant, the challenges of systematically figuring out the answers strongly appeals to my logical self.”

Dr. Iyer is blessed with three children. She sometimes doubles as an unpaid assistant when her husband tries his hand at gardening. Her hobbies include reading, embroidery and crocheting in addition to keeping up with politics and occasionally binge watching favorite shows on TV when the mood strikes.
